Questions from Photographers & Creative Directors
How is the natural light in the studio?
The 2nd Floor Loft has large south-facing factory windows that provide beautiful, diffused natural light throughout the day. The space is well-suited for both natural-light-only shoots and setups combining daylight with artificial lighting.
Can I bring a vehicle in for an automotive shoot?
Yes — vehicles drive up the ramp directly onto the 2nd Floor Loft. Regular cars and cargo vans fit comfortably. Please confirm measurements in advance for longer or taller vehicles. Our team manages all in/out driving for insurance reasons.
Is the prop library included in the rental rate?
Yes. All furniture and props visible in our studio photos are included in every booking at no extra charge. You're welcome to rearrange and style them as needed.
Can I shoot multiple looks in a single booking?
Absolutely. With the 2nd Floor Loft, 1st Floor Workshop, Vintage Office, and Boiler Room all on-site, you can achieve four completely distinct aesthetics without leaving the building.
How do I get to the studio from Manhattan?
ODR Studios is ~4 miles from SoHo — a 25-minute counter-commute drive. You can also take NJ Transit or the PATH train to Newark Penn Station, then walk 8 minutes. For clients flying in, we're 10–15 minutes from Newark Airport.
